Do you want to show action in your photos? Remember a slow shutter speed to going to show movement in your photos. You can use that to your advantage to show movement in your action shots. Slow the shutter speed down and move your body so that the camera is pointing at the subject at all times. You get the cool effect that blurs the background, but the subject is in focus.
It doesn’t have to be only bikes and cars. Birds work, also.
Do you really need a wide angle lens? No…
Take multiple photos and stitch them together.
All you do is take 3, 4, or 5 pictures, in protrait orientation. Make sure you overlap your pictures by 30%. Once you get them home, use a photo stitch program and make some great landscape pictures.
I love taking night pictures. Night creates a very different look to your pictures, but be mindful of your shutter speed!! The shutter was open for 15 seconds on this one.
